take the A9 north over the Kessock Bridge (signs for Thurso)
At the first roundabout (Tore) follow the signs for Ullapool & Dingwall A835 (2nd exit)
At the second roundabout (Maryburgh) follow the signs for Ullapool A835 (2nd exit)
Just after Garve turn left onto the A832 Gairloch & Kyle of Lochalsh
At the Achnasheen roundabout bear right (2nd exit) to Kinlochewe & Gairloch A832
At Kinlochewe go straight ahead for Gairloch A832
At Gairloch turn left , opposite the mini-market onto the B8021 to Big Sand, North Erradale and Melvaig
Continue along this road for 5.5miles and turn left for North Erradale
Tir Aluinn is the third property on the right, with a cattle grid at the entrance
